UP Election Results 2022: In the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has come to power for the second time in a row.

In such a situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also seen moving towards destroying the notions called the "Myth of Noida" on Thursday.

According to the trends of counting of votes, on one hand, while Adityanath seems to be moving towards victory from Gorakhpur city seat, on the other hand BJP is also seen putting all three seats in Gautam Budh Nagar district in its bag.  Noida, Dadri and Jewar assembly constituencies come under this district.  For nearly three decades, it has been said that no chief minister of Uttar Pradesh who visits Noida in Gautam Budh Nagar district will come back to power.

In recent history, Mayawati, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in March 2007, had gone to Noida that year to attend the wedding of a relative of her close friend, Satish Mishra.  However, this bold move of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief was termed as an attempt to break the perceptions at that time.  But with his ouster from the state power in 2012, the myth persisted.  Mayawati belongs to Badalpur village of Greater Noida.

Earlier, his predecessor and Samajwadi Party leaders Mulayam Singh Yadav, BJP's Rajnath Singh and Kalyan Singh did not visit Noida during their Chief Minister's tenure.  Akhilesh Yadav, the son of Mulayam Singh, who became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 2012, personally maintained the connection of not coming to Noida.

Akhilesh Yadav did not attend the Asian Development Bank conference held in Noida in 2013.  The then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was the chief guest at that conference.  Adityanath, who took charge of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017, has visited Noida dozens of times since becoming the chief minister.  He initiated several other projects apart from the inauguration of Metro in Noida.

In January, he reached Gautam Budh Nagar and reviewed the situation of Kovid-19.  In such a situation, it is believed that if Yogi Adityanath returns to the chief minister's chair despite coming to Noida, then this time the myth about Noida will be broken.
