NBL,. 13/03/2022, Lokeshwer Prasad Verma,.. international news": Amid the political turmoil in Pakistan, the military establishment, considered the most powerful in the country, has warned Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government not to "drag them into their politics, as the military has nothing to do with domestic politics".  Is'.

The reaction comes after Information and Broadcasting Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain pleaded for help to the army in the wake of the no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan government.  He appealed to the military establishment not to remain neutral in political matters and to take the side of his government.  He had requested the support of Imran Khan against the joint opposition of Pakistani opposition parties.

 Dawn quoted Fawad as saying, "Under the constitutional plan, the army always stands with the present government. The army has to abide by the constitution."

 The military establishment has made it clear that it is no longer supporting Imran Khan and is currently "neutral".  The selectors (military establishment) have started the search for a new captain.  According to insiders, the military establishment is angered by Imran Khan's open claim that the army is backed in his 'ugly' fight with the united opposition, which took a negative turn on Thursday night.

 According to media reports, following the orders of Imran Khan, the police tried to forcibly arrest the opposition MPs of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan (JUIF) from the lodge of the Parliament where they are staying.  To prevent this move, JUIF supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman had deployed 'volunteers' of his personal militia, Ansar-ul-Islam, which protects party leaders during rallies, especially during the election season.

 While the government has claimed that these 'volunteers' of the banned outfit were armed, Rahman said that 'Imran Khan wanted to arrest and kidnap members of the National Assembly's opposition to reduce their numbers during the session, when no-confidence  The proposal will be brought.

 After a heated fight between police and JUIF volunteers inside and outside the Parliament Lodge in Islamabad, the police managed to 'arrest' 19 MPs along with supporters.

 Sharing a few pictures and video clips, the veteran Pakistani journalist wrote on Twitter, "One word: Shameful. Is an elected member of parliament treated like this? Such tactics always backfire. PM Imran Khan  You promised change, but your government is repeating the ugly scenes of our troubled history."

 A united opposition has called for a nationwide protest.  Rahman has asked his supporters to either reach Islamabad or block the roads in their cities and register their protest against this incompetent government.

 Rehman was quoted as saying by Pakistani media, "We demand that our MNA (MP) and others be released and that the government and police should apologize. We have declared war (political fight) and for this terrorism they should be punished."  Won't forgive."

 Former PPP chairman and PPP co-chair Asif Ali Zardari said, "Puppet Prime Minister Imran Khan is troubling the Members of Parliament by creating fear and panic among them. He has gone mad and is harassing the Members of Parliament.  "

 Meanwhile, Najam Sethi, a veteran Pakistani journalist, writes, "Imran Khan's strategy is to protest his expulsion by violent means and to drag the army back into interventionist politics. In other words, if he is not allowed to rule,  So his preferred option is to spread political anarchy in the country."
